We are excited to announce our upcoming restaurant in the beautiful Town of Schererville, IN. Situated just a quarter of a mile north of where US 41 and US 30 intersect, this high-traffic location known affectionately by locals as the “Crossroads of the Nation” will allow us to bring our delicious food and fun atmosphere to even more people in the northwest region of Indiana.
Our 7,780-square-foot restaurant is expected to open in the back half of 2022, and will feature seating for more than 175 guests, a seasonal outdoor patio with seating for 48, and triple drive-thru lanes. The restaurant will be our third-ever Portillo’s to feature a triple-lane drive-thru. We've long been known for our speedy double-lane drive-thru; this third lane was designed to accommodate online orders. Once complete, it will include a diner-themed interior, drawing inspiration from the 1950s and 1960s.
