Portillo’s (NASDAQ: PTLO), the fast-casual restaurant concept known for its menu of unrivaled Chicago-style street food, today announced plans to open an additional location in Grand Prairie, which will expand the company’s footprint in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The news comes as the Company gears up to open its Grapevine location.
The newest Portillo's restaurant will be located in Grand Prairie within the Epic West Shopping Center, located off SH 161. The location is set to be a "Restaurant of the Future," designed with a Southwest garage theme. The 6,250 square-foot restaurant will feature seating for 160 guests, as well as a double drive-thru lane, Portillo’s Pick Up shelves and Grab and Go area to accommodate off-premise guests.
When the new restaurant opens for business next year, guests can expect to enjoy Portillo’s signature menu items like Chicago-Style Hot Dogs, Famous Italian Beef Sandwiches, Char-Grilled Burgers and Portillo’s Famous Chocolate Cake.
