Portillo’s (NASDAQ: PTLO), the fast-casual restaurant concept known for its menu of unrivaled Chicago-style street food, today announced plans to open a new location in the state of Arizona, making it the ninth in the state and eighth in the Phoenix area.
The new Portillo’s restaurant will be located in a center near the corner of Ray Rd and 1-10. Designed as the brand’s new “Restaurant of the Future” build, the 6,250 square-foot Portillo’s restaurant will feature seating for 160 guests, as well as a double drive thru-lane, Portillo’s Pick-Up shelves and Grab and Go area to accommodate off-premise guests.
“Phoenix has been a great, welcoming market for Portillo’s as we continue our expansion in Arizona,” says Portillo’s CEO Michael Osanloo. “We’ve loved serving the Phoenix community our unrivaled Chicago street food, and we’re excited to provide even greater convenience to our guests in the Grand Canyon State with this newest restaurant in Chandler.”
When the new restaurant opens for business next year, guests can expect to enjoy Portillo’s signature menu items like Chicago-Style Hot Dogs, Famous Italian Beef Sandwiches, Char-Grilled Burgers and Portillo’s Famous Chocolate Cake.
