Prices include standard 2 day shipping Monday - Wednesday. Additional fees for Standard Overnight, Priority Overnight and Saturday Shipping. Additional fees also apply to shipments to Alaska and Hawaii and will still arrive in 2 days.
A box may arrive on or before your delivery date as we work to get all packages out in a timely manner and delivered for your event. If you have any questions, please call 866-YUM-BEEF (866-986-2333).
Order for delivery in advance to beat the holiday rush. All food orders must be placed to arrive before December 21st. Cannot place order to arrive December 22-29.
Your package could arrive before or after your selected delivery date. UPS is experiencing high volumes and packages may be delayed.
Italian beef is shipped frozen, it is normal for it to start to defrost, especially in hot temperatures.
Italian Beef & gravy can be stored in the fridge for 5-7 days, or frozen up to 3 months for best quality.

I will start by saying I have shipped previously with no issues. The resent order was highly disappointing. Delivery was chosen for a Friday and was deferred twice by fedex and not delivered until Monday. The styrofoam inner packaging was broken in places at the top.. i do have pictures. Because of this and the delayed delivery half of what we ordered was thawed. I called fedex twice laying into them that this a perishable food delivery. No one could answer any of my questions and was of no help but to open a ticket. This was a christmas gift to out of state family who really miss Portillo’s. I was really disappointed this go round and questioning if I will ever ship this product again.

I've loved these Italian beef sandwiches for years but, lately the thin sliced beef is SO pulverized and torn up it makes it very hard to pull them into slices for reheating in the Jus.

Being from Chicago, I grew up on your beef sandwiches. Once you change from plastic containers to cellophane bags for the beef gravy one of the bags leaks. This Thanksgiving was the final straw. My refrigerator was filled with food, and I had beef gravy all down my shelves on food and the bottom of the refrigerator. It took me an hour to clean up this mess. this is the third time this happened to me. I am sure you are aware of this and have done nothing to fix this problem. you should compensate me for my time cleaning out a pack refrigerator and giving you a free survey on your dysfunctional product. Three times disheartening. I miss the small business owner.

Shipment arrived on time and on the date per my order confirmation - Everything was perfect - I have been having this "FAVORITE" shipped around Thanksgiving for many years. And I will continue this "ritual" for many years to come. I think I missed last year (2023) but can't recall why . . . I am a former resident of Elmhurst, IL and have enjoyed Portillo's for many many years. I even knew Dick Portillo and worked nearby his Addison, IL location. Good Food / priced right / fantastic decor in each and every location. Nothing like it anywhere else . . . Just wish they would put one in, in Alabama.
