Chicago Style Hot Dogs - 50 Pack

It was wonderful. It was for a family reunion for us who grew up in Chicago and miss the Portillo Chicago Dogs. It was perfect.

There’s nothing comparable portfolios is the best. I ship it out to burning man every year.

We order frequent shipments. It’s a taste from home. We moved away 30 years ago- but each shipment is consistently delicious.

I had placed the order for an 80th birthday party to be delivered on the 14th. Shipping was a disaster, and I received no communication even though two phone numbers were given. As of the morning of the 17th, we still had not received the order. Tracking on the order was checked multiple times and kept on saying it would be delivered by 8pm on each day. The party occurred with food from Costco with the 80-year-old wearing a Portillos T-shirt. Very dissapointing!!!! I called on the morning of the 17th to cancel order and was told that the delivery probably could not be made because it was a gated community, and the unit number was not on the address. I explained that no phone number was tried and there is a directory at the gate. The customer service person advised that the delivery person does not have to call anyone. It was also frustrating that the customer service voicemail was not open on Sunday and the message stated that they opened at 9am on Monday but didnt until 10.

We planned a company gathering months in advance understanding that our local Portillo's did not cater, but we thought we could get Chicago Style Hot Dogs through their Take and Make option. The day prior to the event, we realized that the Take and Make menu did not offer hot dogs, and our only option was to have the hot dogs shipped. The representative was very kind and assisted in getting our order placed. She checked and double checked to make sure our order would arrive when needed, and our Chicago Style Hot Dogs were delivered as promised, well packaged, and we received plenty of condiments. Shipping hot dogs was not our desired choice, but it worked. With the detailed instructions, the Chicago Style Hot Dogs were a hit. Thank you Portillo's.

We ordered the 50 pack for a baby shower for our friends who used to live in Crystal Lake but now live here in Nebraska. It was a huge hit and everything was so delicious!! Great shipping absolutely will do this again!

We’ve been ordering hot dogs for our 4th of July celebration the last several summers and have always really loved the tradition as most of our family is from Chicago. I always have them sent to my in-laws so I don’t see the shipment until the day of our party. This year when we started getting everything ready, we realized they forgot to send the tomatoes and onions. Had we known in time it wouldn’t have been so bad, but as we don’t live close to the grocery store, we weren’t able to get either of those toppings on our hotdogs which we all know make up a big part of the taste of a Portillos hot dog. That was extremely disappointing. We will likely order again next year, just make sure you check that all of the ingredients are there before the day of your event.

An authentic taste of home (Chicago) that cannot be found in St Louis metro-east. Fresh food, delicous. Perfect 4th of July treat!

Being a Chicago native, when my daughter asked for hot dogs for her birthday party I knew Portillos was the way to go. The hot dogs were a hit with all! My two issues were: 1) they came a day earlier than I asked for delivery and 2) the hotdog bun packages were opened (poorly sealed) and the hotdogs on top toward the ends of the packages became stale because I didn't have the space to store in my fridge with them coming early.

Everything came in good condition except the tomatoes, They were mushy and soft. Some split and leaked over the other food. Only one was usable.

Great superbowl food. All of our neighbors now know what a Chicago Dog is. Everything included!

I was hoping he didn’t see the delivery so I could put it outside in the big freezer… he happed to be in the front room when UPS rolled up and come out with the package…. He was so excited!!

This was a hit for my husband's birthday. There was a little bit of chopping and prep work, but it didn't take long! And everyone was impressed and said "this is the best hot dog I've ever had". Winner! Definitely a great way to feed a lot of people. I bought chips and salads for sides and that was enough

We ordered this Chicago Dog pack so that our friends in SC could experience what a Chicago dog is. Everything came on time and packed well. We were so impressed and will order again!

We had a Cub lunch party to celebrate the Cubs entry into the World Series. Food was great and everything we needed was included in the kit, so it was easy. We even prepared everything in a corporate kitchen with no real cooking facilities. You guys really have it figured out, as far as the kit, it was great. Introduction for a lot of people to Chicago Dogs, everyone was very impressed and enjoyed.
