Why is it called the Garden Dog^®?

The Chicago hot dog is said to be "dragged through the garden" due to the many vegetable toppings that make a classic Chicago-style hot dog. Our Garden Dog^® is dragged through the garden of mustard, relish, onion, tomatoes, relish, sport peppers and pickles for the same great taste we've been perfecting since 1963 - all of the flavor, none of the meat.

What does it taste like?

Our plant-based hot dogs are smoked and seasoned to perfection to deliver an incredibly authentic eating experience. These delicious plant-based hot dogs are packed with pea protein and smoked to provide an ideal plant-based twist on the classic hot dog.

Is it Vegan?

Yes. While we cook the Garden Dog^® on the same char-grill as we cook meat, the section of the grill used for the Garden Dog^® is dedicated only to the Garden Dog^®. However, we cannot guarantee that the Garden Dog^® will not come into contact with meat.

Does it taste like an all-beef hot dog?

Not quite, but it’s delicious in its own right. The Garden Dog^® shares similarities to the traditional hot dog, but will not taste exactly the same and will not have the classic snap when you take a bite.
