Tax-Free Catering with Portillo’s: A Step-by-Step Guide Blog Title

Get Started with Tax-Exempt Catering 

  1. Create a Portillo’s Account: If you don’t have one yet, sign up here! 
  2. Share Your Tax-Exempt Letter: Email or call our Catering Team with your tax-exempt letter (make sure it isn’t expired!) 
  3. Customize Your Feast: Work with us to build the perfect Portillo’s spread for your event. Whether it's Italian Beef sandwiches, our famous chopped salad, or a tasty pasta tray, we've got something for everyone. 

How to Place your Order: 

Online: 

  • Sign In: Log into your Portillo’s account. 

  • Toggle the Tax Exemption at Check Out: Activate your savings with a quick flip of the switch, then start building your order. 

By Phone: 

  • Call Us: Dial 866-YUMBEEF, and our team will assist you with placing your order and applying your tax exemption. 

First-Time Users: If it’s your first time placing a tax-exempt catering order, email your tax-exempt letter from your official .org, .gov, or .edu email address to cateringteam@portillos.com, or call us at 866-YUMBEEF, and we’ll guide you through the process. 

Verify and Go! 

Before you dive into planning your feast, make sure your organization’s tax-exempt status is up to date. Your tax exemption needs to be non-expired and issued by the state where the order is placed.
